Zurich, Switzerland - 10 October 1991 - Xherdan Shaqiri, the Swiss superstar footballer, was born in Gjilan, Kosovo on October 10, 1991. Currently, he plays as a winger for the Chicago Fire of Major League Soccer. Shaqiri joined the Fire as a Designated Player in February of 2022. Since then, he has made 69 appearances for the club, scoring 12 goals and providing 10 assists.
Shaqiri is a highly skilled and experienced player who has enjoyed a successful career at both the club and international levels. He has played for several top clubs in Europe, including Bayern Munich, Liverpool, and Inter Milan. He has made over 100 appearances for the Swiss national team, including playing in three World Cups.
